Friendsgivings to Remember
San+Dimas+Students+Celebrate+Friendsgiving

As the holiday season approaches this November, Saints take on the tradition and come together to create heartwarming memories about fun, food, and the feeling of togetherness. Friendsgiving is an opportunity for friends to gather and get together, to give thanks for their bonds, and more. This year, as Saints host Friendsgiving with their friends they create unforgettable memories.

Friendsgiving allows everyone to celebrate with their friends and allows others to celebrate their friendships and have a memorable experience. Friendsgiving is all about having fun and expressing our gratitude for one another.

Friendsgiving gives people the opportunity to create new traditions that are unique to them. “At Friendsgiving, my friends and I create a new tradition. The idea of Friendsgiving allows people to break regular Thanksgiving traditions, and create enjoyable and unique traditions with friends. “This year we decided to create a new tradition where we bake with one blindfolded, headphones blasted, and one who can’t speak except it was a bigger group of people. It’s fun creating new traditions because it gets funnier every year,” says Junior McKenzie Whiteleather.

At events like Friendsgiving, friends are allowed to be creative and show their culinary skills, and cultural foods and dishes. “A couple of my friends brought traditional dishes this year. It was a fun and nice thing to do, trying new foods, and being able to show off our traditional foods,” says Junior Jacquelyn Lin.

“We made jokes the whole time and watched movies. There were so many cherishing moments and memories that were made from just this night. I would definitely host or do this all again next year,” says Junior Sara Fouad. The laughter and shared stories of friends and family make it more heartwarming and enjoyable for everyone.

Friendsgiving is about celebrating not only family but friends as well. As our Saints hosted Friendsgiving, they were able to share cultures, and foods, and create new traditions as well. Friends can come together and create new and unforgettable memories. The purpose of Friendsgiving is to express gratitude to friends and family, and Saints were able to create long-lasting, heart-warming memories as well.
