February 8, 2019

On January 24th at San Dimas High School, the girl’s soccer team was preparing to face Rowland High School. The girl’s soccer team record is currently 5-3. In league, the Saints are currently in second place following Wilson High School who are in first.

When the Saints and Raiders stepped on the field, they were ready to try their hardest. The referee blew the whistle and the game started. The Saints and Raiders were going back and forth with both teams playing great defense. Although, the Raider’s defense couldn’t stop the Saints from scoring two goals. The first half ended with a score of 2-0.

After the first half ended, both teams went off the field to strategize. Even though the Saints were up by two, they were still making sure that the Raiders would not come back. The Raider’s tried their hardest to score against the Saints, but it was not enough. The Saints ended up scoring three more goals making the final score of the game 5-0 against the Raiders.

This win against Rowland gave our Lady Saints a league record of 6-3 and put them in 2nd place.
