2023 proved to be the year for the Australian heart-thob actor, Jacob Elordi, thanks to his features in Pricilla and Saltburn, so whats the next move for this movie superstar?
Fangirls have been going crazy over his new features recently and he’s only soaring farther to the top of Hollywood. Jacob Elordi was born in Brisbane, Australia and pursued his acting career by moving to the states at age 19. He turned into an overnight star with his romantic lead as Noah Flynn in The Kissing Booth. However, it wasn’t all easy. In an interview with GQ, Elordi recalls that “[He] wasn’t booking jobs” and had to crash on couches with friends in LA until he earned his part in the hit show Euphoria. His wide range of acting skill is admirable, with his impeccable Elvis impression shocking audiences everywhere. Not to mention, girls seem to think hes pretty easy on the eyes too.
“He’s manliness, his facial features, his charm, his strong character, they all just get me.” says senior Calista Corrales.
There have been recent rumors of yet another Elordi film, a recreation of the famous story of Frankesnstein. He is supposedly replacing actor Andrew Garfiled due to “post-strike scheduling conflicts” according to Deadlines report as the creature. Fans of Andrew Garfiled are a bit displeased to say the least but not surprised, due to Elordis rising fame.
“I feel Frankenstein’s creature should be less attractive as he’s perceived in the book and Jacob Elordi is super duper attractive, not saying that Andrew Garfield is ugly or anything because he sure as hell isn’t, but he seems like he would fit the role a bit better” says senior Naomi Ashenafi, who happens to be a big fan of the Spiderman superstar Andrew Garfield.
Some however, feel that Elordi is a much better face for the movie. Senior Zack Paulson gives his opinion on the dilemma, saying “Andrew Garfield is kinda too scrawny and thin to be the creature. Jacob Elordi is 6’5 and has a bigger build thats more suitable for the creature.”
Moreover, Elordi’s dating life has been a winding road for fans to follow alog with as he is continuously on and off with his long time girlfriend, Olivia Jade Giannulli. The two made headlines earlier this month with an alleged split, but this was soon rebutted according to a TMZ report that claims that the couple is “still going strong”. The couple was first spotted together in December of 2021, but have broken up and rekindled their flame a total of 3 times now. Neither celebrity ever talk openly about their relationship.
Jacob Elordi’s uprise has no doubt been asserted these past few weeks. One can only wonder to what extent will this fame perish? But for now I think its safe to say that Jacob Elordi is on a high and The King cannot be brought down.
