New pop princess, Sabrina Carpenter, is at the beginning of her “Short n’ Sweet” world tour where she brings her fans in for a night of glittery music, spin the bottle, and witty banter in between her songs. Although she is a rising star, this is not her first look at fame and her stage presence is nothing short of magical.
As Carpenters (her fan base) fill up arena after arena, they enter Sabrina’s world where she welcomes them to get up and dance along with some of her biggest hits like “Espresso”, “Juno”, and “Please, Please, Please”. Her tour is supposed to last until March of 2025 where she will perform all around the world in different states and countries to sold-out shows. This starlet’s music journey has been a long one and not only is she breaking records on the charts with her latest album, but she is adding a whole new look to pop music — and it’s not just her sparkling corsets.
Sabrina opened her tour in Columbus, Ohio on September 23, 2024, and will be accompanied by artists such as Declan McKenna, Griff, and Amaarae. Her concert takes place on the set of a vintage, yet cozy all-white “apartment” where she travels from a balcony to stairs to her heart-shaped couch fit for a queen (and about 10 of her friends). Here, she takes a break from singing to get to know her audience and play a game of spin the bottle, but with a twist—a surprise song. So far, she’s sung hits like “Mamma Mia”, “9 to 5”, and “Kiss Me”.
As an upcoming fashion icon, Sabrina inspired her fans to dress to impress, and suffice to say, they understood the assignment. Following Sabrina, Carpenters showed up in Polly Pocket-like fashion with outfits inspired by her latest album “Short n’ Sweet”. We’ve seen laced nightgowns, colorful corsets, the cutest mini-skirts, and all of them marked by the famous red lip tattoo.
Success won’t fall short for Carpenter these next few months of her tour and a huge part of it is due to her loyal fans and the energy that they bring to her shows. Fans are excited to see what she continues to bring to the stage, like her unique outfits, feminine charm, and a lot of camaraderie.
