This year is ending, and all artists are dropping their albums, starting with R&B, Rap, pop, and Hip-Hop. These artists have done their best to make it to the top five albums of the year, which are coming from the Billboard 200.
We are starting with number 1 Chromokopia by Tyler the Creator. There are a lot of mixed feelings about this album, but many people are bumping it in their ears. This is more of a slow beat, and just a guitar, then start singing. 2nd, we have Short n’ Sweet by Sabrina Carpenter. This album is about having a great vibe, all a, no feelings, and b, just jamming out. Finally, we have Last Lap by Rod Wave. This album talks about his life and growing up, which is super sad, especially the way he talks about it.
The “Short n’ Sweet” album was a pop album, and lots of people liked it; however, some people feel differently. For example, freshman Madison Barron felt “The Short n’ Sweet album was good but a bit overused on social media.” Next, we hear from Freshman Sabrina Phan expressing how she feels about the album: “It was an excellent album, but some of the songs were a bit overrated.”
Next, we have a review of “Chromokopia”. This is number one on the billboard for this month, and it also has great sound and tempo. Great lyrics all of the above. We have Junior Aaron Solis saying “The album is a good album and lives up to the hype of it being the number 1 album on Billboard 200.” Next, we hear from Junior Micahel Young-Bowers his review on Chromokopia “It was a good album and my second favorite Tyler album and think some of his most emotional songs are on this album.”
Next, we are reviewing “Last Lap,” a Rap album that is a Tribute to Grief. We are talking about all our life stories growing up. It is a celebration of life and Brotherhood. We are getting a review from freshman Isaak Silvestre, who says, “The album has a couple of good songs but is terrible overall.”
This is a wrap on this month’s albums. With a bunch of mixed reviews on all of these albums. All of these albums have a different meaning to it.
