The Lady Saint wrestlers have shown off their hard work, arriving with 14 girls on the varsity lineup, leaving with 9 League placers and 6 League Champions.  Lei’ani Jaime, Alyssa Franco, Charlene Smith, Karina Camera, April Mendez, and Aubrey Baeza reached the top and ended the night with 1st place.  Believing in themselves, putting all their hard work on the mat, these wrestlers are now given the opportunity to wrestle at CIF on February 14th.  May they continue to fight hard and show off their hard work with success in their reach!

The Lady Saint wrestling program tends to be very successful.  Here are some wise words from the head coach, Coach Jesse, “The potential I see is high.  Fast learning, high interest and willingness shows that the sky is the limit”. With years of coaching he sees a lot of drive in these young ladies.  Every girl pushes themselves to be the best version they can be of themselves.  Having each other back, and being the group of girls to never let down.  Every lady on the team is there to never disappoint.

With teammates pushing each other, only the sky is the limit.  Working through the pain, sweating through each practice together, the bond within these girls is like no other.  Letting go of one of the best teammates and so far the best season, will be a struggle but the memories will hold in each of these girls’hearts like no other.  Pushing forward letting the victories fuel up her drive to succeed.

When League was a peak for some of the girls season, it was also and end leading with CIF just around the corner.  All girls showed off their hard work and dedication throughout the whole entire season.  They have done nothing but prove themselves to the ones who doubted, to their coaches, and most importantly, to themselves.  With two seniors, ending the year on a good note, these girls are ready to return like nothing ever before next year!  Be ready to watch these girls take off and show up to what they got!
