The newest, best, and most polarizing trends are usually what draws people to what they buy, when they buy it, and where to get it. To stay a step ahead of others, and to see what you’re going to get into, or staying out of, here is this Spring’s fashion forecast. The last about one to two years, the baggy and loose fit of pants has been highly sought after, being the leading trend as of recent. Over the past few months, people have been slowly gravitating towards leaving baggier and loose pants in the past, and bringing back other fits such as longer, skinnier pants, and bootcut pants.
To focus more on this spring’s new trends and not what is getting left, according to fashionable junior, Angelo Fares,”Anything light is gonna get more popular, and comfortable clothes.” So for the first prediction, linen shirts, and linen pants have been gaining more popularity. Linen clothes are perfect for spring, they are lightweight, stylish, comfortable, high quality, and a staple for spring/summer. Another fashionable junior, Austin Smith says, “Shorts always come back, definitely shorts.” Denim shorts, linen shorts, even cargo shorts always come back when the temperature rises, to get ahead having a few pairs of shorts that you can wear repeatedly, and still enjoy will be a great base for this spring. Some brands have been bringing graphic tees into rotation, especially vintage tees that resemble the style from the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s. The simplicity of design from those times draws people towards them, the quality of clothing from that era is higher, and one can often find vintage clothes at a far cheaper price than something brand new. Pleated pants come in all shapes and sizes, so having a pair is a great addition to
spring wardrobe.
Outerwear is always great to invest in for the spring, having
a go-to cardigan, or a chore jacket that can go through any s
ituation, even a light wash denim jacket will be good to keep you warm. Cardigans are great for layering an elevating a would have been simple outfit. Chore jackets are a buy once wear forever piece, regardless if one buys it brand new or worn-in, they will last forever, so find one that can be worn over and over.
A great way to elevate outfits and to make them more unique to the person wearing it, is to accessorize, staples for the spring/summer can include sunglasses, classic watches, vibrant belts, and coastal accessories.
The best outfits always start at the shoes, recently loafers, clogs, and s
andals have been becoming more popular even overshadowing sneakers and tennis-shoes in everyday wear. Birkenstock is a great place to shop for the spring/summer given their large collection of clogs and sandals, for more formal shoes like loafers, Dr. Martens, Cole Haan, and Marc Nolan have a large selection of loafers at reasonable prices. A good pair of boots is great to have for rainy days, they have also been gaining more traction in everyday wear, once one has a pair they do not need to get another for a long time, and they are truly timeless.
