Isabella Martinez opened the game for San Dimas Varsity Saints. The pitcher gave up 11 hits and six runs (five earned) over six innings, striking out none and walking three. Donica Meyndert opened the game for Alta Loma. The hurler surrendered six hits and five runs (four earned) over two innings, striking out three and walking two.
San Dimas Varsity Saints amassed 10 hits in the game. Medina, Jaidyn Baeza, and Mia Patlan each collected two hits for San Dimas Varsity Saints. Medina, Haygood, Arochi, and Villegas each drove in one run for San Dimas Varsity Saints. Haygood paced San Dimas Varsity Saints with three walks. In the top of the sixth inning, Alta Loma went back into the lead after Izabella Poveda singled, and Peyton Reel singled to left field, each scoring two runs.
Alta Loma tallied 11 hits in the game. Salazar, Alissa Vizon, and Poveda each collected two hits for Alta Loma. Poveda went 2-for-4 at the plate and led the team with two runs batted in.
Alta Loma did their jobs at the plate by getting on base and scoring. They took home the win by 1 as multiple runs were batted in.
