The show opened with a full-choir performance of “Be Our Guest” from Beauty and the Beast. With Lumière entering in front of the curtain and lively singers dancing behind him, the opener immediately set an energetic and theatrical tone for the night. The costumed soloist and the other choir members in their designated color shirts brought the enchanted show to life, complete with choreography and vibrant vocals that drew cheers from the audience.
The first half of the concert featured a bright and energetic performance of “When Will My Life Begin” from Tangled by Bel Canto, which captured Rapunzel’s restless spirit. Chorale then shifted the mood with their dramatic Disney Villain Medley, adding flair and intensity to the show. Treble Choir followed with a lively and colorful Encanto medley full of vibrant harmonies, and Chorale returned with a touching rendition of “Remember Me” from Coco, sung with emotion and harmonies. Chamber Choir then performed a heartfelt and uplifting rendition of “I See the Light” from Tangled. Several soloists also stood out with powerful performances of “Love is an Open Door,” “Waiting on a Wish,” and “La Llorona,” which added emotional depth and variety to the concert
After intermission, the show kicked off with Bel Canto’s enchanting performance of “Disney Princess,” which set a magical tone for the second half. “I loved Disney Princess, the outfits we wore were so stunning,” said Sophmore Piper Tom. Treble Choir followed with the energetic and playful “Scales & Arpeggios.” Chamber Choir then captivated the audience with a dramatic rendition of “Hunchback,” filled with powerful vocals and emotion. “Performing the Hunchback piece really allowed us to explore the story’s darker themes while showcasing our vocal range,” said senior Brijon Lewis, a member of Chamber Choir. Soloists also performed songs such as “Into the Unknown,” “Let It Go,” “Almost There,” and “When You Wish Upon a Star.”
The two-hour concert concluded with all choirs coming together for a powerful and uplifting performance of “Circle of Life,” which brought the magical night to an end.
