On May 29th, the class of 2025 celebrated their final day of high school, marking an important milestone as they prepare for college, the military, and new adventures. Dressed in caps and gowns, the seniors reminisced about friendships and experiences that shaped their journey, sharing their favorite memories and valuable advice to inspire underclassmen.

Senior Dayra Zavala said, “High school wasn’t the best, but it’s all right. Right now, I’m low-key happy I’m finally done with high school.” She feels relieved that high school is over, but she will still miss the memories she made during her experience. Some advice she gave to incoming freshmen is to not copy what others are doing, to be yourself, and not to try to fit in.
Senior Joseph Dimichina shared his thoughts on finally leaving high school, saying, “It seems fun at first, but eventually, you realize that you’ll miss all the enjoyable moments you had during lunch, before school, and after school,” he added, “You’ll miss everything and everyone because everyone will be going their separate ways.” He also offered some advice for incoming freshmen: it’s important to make friends in high school because those friendships might last a lifetime.

Senior Astrid Mauricio shared her high school experience, saying, “I had great memories here and made a lot of friends that I will never forget.” She added, “It’s relieving to finally be done.” Astrid also offered some advice for incoming freshmen: live in the moment with your friends and never look back.
