In honor of our star students at our school, San Dimas High-school hosts their annual rally to recognize each individual student at SDHS that has earned Valedictorian, Salutatorian and many other achievements. Also in recognition of attendance, valedictorian and S. Lets take a deep dive into the Renaissance rally 2024-2025!
On May 20th after 4th the rally was held in the gymnasium after the fourth period. San Dimas took pride in receiving and recognizing each student who had achievement for the 2024-2025 school year. The theme of this school year’s renaissance rally was “Under The Sea”. ASB decorated with beautiful props and balloons to create a real effect of our gymnasium being under the sea. The whole gymnasium was an undersea adventure with wonderful music to reconcile and recognize the accomplishments from our saints. Marina blank and blank blank lead our whole assembly by introducing stunts and telling everyone what was going on next.
In honor of our star of academic success and extra curricular activities Kianush Zamiri was announced as valedictorian. Being Valediction is the biggest accomplishment, it shows persistence and accountability. Being Valedictorian isn’t easy to achieve but Kianush put in the work to meet this big award. And for our salutatorian Gargeya Smruti Ranjan. The two were congratulated with a certificate gift bag and of course their gold stole that they can wear to graduation. When asked “How did it feel to get the honor of being called Valedictorian Kianush Zamiri says” blank “. We congratulated our top students and wished them off with their journeys after high school.
Each student strive for their excellence with pride. In high school staying on top of assignments can’t be easy. Especially with sports, jobs and other things that can be a struggle. Even without the perfect GPA each of these saints each worked so hard to make these achievements..There was many other achievements other than the top 2. These achievements are included as 4.0 seniors, completion in tech, science Olympian and many others. Each saint got to walk through a balloon arch as their name was said to the audience along with a cord or a stole. There are so many things to get recognized at San Dimas High school. With enough motivation and confidence being able to achieve higher expectations will really pay off in the long run.
