On Saturday, May 10, the San Dimas Car Show was hosted from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm at San Dimas High School’s parking lot. This fun day was filled with amazing cars, great food stands to choose from, and entertaining music! The parking lot was filled with several awesome cars to look at.
The show had all kinds of cars, like old-fashioned cars to newer vehicles! While families strolled through the rows of cars admiring all the awesome cars, there was fun oldies music playing throughout the show, and food stands selling all kinds of delicious food for people to buy. This event also allowed all the car lovers to exchange knowledge based on what they knew. The car show fostered a sense of community, uniting people with a shared appreciation for the art of the automobile.
Not only was this event great for car lovers but this event helped clubs like the Spanish Honor Society raise money and fundraise! For some people, this wasn’t their first time attending this event, like Alicia Soto who says “This was my second time attending this event and it was very fun looking at all the different vintage cars there were. The car show wasn’t just about showing off cars but it was also about the people who cherished them. Each car from the show told its own unique story as people who owned those cars shared it to all the people interested.
This event also served as a community gathering! Families and people who attended the show strolled through the parking lot looking at all the variety of vintage cars while also meeting other car lovers. Local food vendors offered food and drinks which added more to the lively ambiance. The show wasn’t just an event but it was also a celebration of community and enduring love for automobiles!
