Mr. Nance, beloved Vice Principal at San Dimas, announces that he will be leaving San Dimas High School after 17 years of working at

Mr. Nance has been an amazing role model for all his co-workers and students alike. Every morning, he greets students with a warm smile before walking onto campus. He has gone above and beyond for all students by counseling those who need it and encouraging each student to be the best person they can be.
Mr. Nance will be greatly missed at San Dimas because of the positive impact he has had on campus for the past 17 years. Mr. Nance has always shown up for the San Dimas Saints, whether it is going to sports games or cheer competitions, students know they can always count on Mr. Nance to cheer them on. Mr. Nance has also shared his faith with students, he hosts Bible studies every Tuesday morning before school with a small group of students.
Mr. Nance will be leaving San Dimas High School to become a counselor at Ramona Middle School. Wherever he goes, Mr. Nance will continue to be a mentor to young minds because it is his gift. When being asked about what he will miss most about San Dimas, Mr. Nance said,”The kids of course. We have the best kids”. Mr. Nance explains that his greatest accomplishment and proudest moments at San Dimas has been the increase in positive AP scores for the students. Nance has prioritized the success of his students and is constantly encouraging San Dimas Saints to succeed in life. He is a selfless and respectable mentor that has always been a positive role model for students and staff alike.

Mr. Nance’s words of encouragement for his successor were to “love the kids. Love them and they’ll love you right back”. San Dimas is losing a true mentor, but his work will not be forgotten. San Dimas Saints are truly grateful for the impact Mr. Nance has made on this campus. His legacy of kindness, support, and dedication will continue to inspire future generations of Saints and staff. He will be greatly missed on campus, but he is off to make another positive impact at a different campus. Mr. Nance has worked hard for years taking care of his students and staff, never taking any opportunity for granted and doing his best to know all his students.
