Flight of the Night
October 21, 2019
San Dimas had its traditional Homecoming dance on October 12, 2019. The dance was hosted at the Fullerton Hanger 21 with the matching theme, “Let The Night Take Flight”.
A few of our fellow Saints shared their experience at the dance. Junior Katrina Hernandez, and Freshman Ryeen Zerbel.
Was the venue better than last year?
Hernandez: “The venue was much better, it was bigger, nicer, and private which I liked the most.”
What was your opinion on the theme?
Zerbel: “I actually like it, it was cool to see the planes go off because it matched with the theme. Although the planes were too loud.”
Was last year better than this year?
Hernandez: “I had a better experience with my friends this year than last year.”
Explain how the night went and if you enjoyed it.
Zerbel: “First, I went with my friends, not a date. It was a bit boring at first because the dance floor was just people standing there because the music was not dancing music. Then the last hour was better because the DJ played better music so I danced with my friends.”
Hernandez: “I enjoyed most of the dance, although there was a little bit of drama. I would say it’s a night to remember.”
The first dance of the year left Saints hopeful of what’s to come next year. The Homecoming dance was definitely a night for everyone to remember and to look back on fondly in the future.
