Another Battle Against Bonita

With the beginning of a new winter, comes the beginning of a new basketball season. It also happens to have an early match between two heated rivals. San Dimas and Bonita High School are set to face off against each other on Nov 23.

Not only is this an exciting event that many spectators are looking forward to, but it’s something that the players have been preparing for. Bonita is no easy foe, but the Saints welcome the challenge and are ready to show what they are made of this year.

The Bearcats and Saints are set to face off once again, and although it is technically just a normal game in the season, it is much more than that to the players. San Dimas is ready to fight and definitely knows what the task at hand requires. Varsity basketball player Drew Breeze shared, “it’s kind of all we have been focusing on these past two weeks. We’ve been focused on what we are going to run against them on offense and defense.” 

The basketball team has spent a lot of time preparing for the Bearcats because the game will not be easy. Bonita has a hefty win streak against San Dimas as they haven’t been defeated by San Dimas in over 30 years in basketball. 

But the basketball team doesn’t let the challenge get to them. Breeze had this to say, “we’re embracing the challenge, we are looking forward to it. The intensity is always high. We work hard during our practices everyday no matter what and will show that on the court.
