Parasite, directed by: Boon Joon Ho and writer (s): Boon Joon Ho and Han Jin Won has made one of the easily best films of this decade. Parasite is about, “All unemployed, Ki-taek and his family take a peculiar interest in the wealthy and glamorous Parks, as they ingratiate themselves into their lives and get entangled in an unexpected incident,” as it states in the Golden Globes’s synopsis page. The movie itself holds 3 nominations and 1 win from the Golden Globes, a SAG Award for Cast In a Motion Picture; Chang Hyae-jin, Cho Yeo-jeong, Choi Woo-shik, Jung Hyeon-jun, Jung Ziso, Lee Jung-eun, Lee Sun-kyun, Park Myung-hoon, Park So-dam, Song Kang-ho. It holds 99% on Rotten Tomatoes and a 8.6 on IMDB (Internet Movie Database).  The nominations and awards pave a revolutionary path because of the fact that a foreign-media film to receive the ‘Hollywood,’ treatment is very rare and it’s the first one in Korea ever to be nominated for a Golden Globe and the Palme d’Or at the 2019 Cannes’ Film Festival
