Humans of SD- Kira Cervantes

“I was at the Smudge Pot football game during my sophomore year. We had just lost against Bonita at the District Field in Covina. I was leaving the game and my friends had left without me so I was trying to hurry up so I could catch up to them. That’s when I opened the gate door to leave the field and I pressed it so hard that it swung back at me and hit my eyebrow. I kept running and I ran up to my friends and they all had said “omg you’re bleeding Kira what happened?!”. So I turned on my camera and I saw that I had a huge gash on my face I was bleeding everywhere. My friend’s dad ended up helping me I called my parents they took me to urgent care and I was dripping blood everywhere after all that I ended up having to get stitches on my eyebrow I forgot how many though.”- Senior, Kira Cervantes
