“I don’t find it fun going to new schools. I felt like the new kid with every new school and didn’t have a lot of friends. But by the fourth school, I went to, some people started to want to become my friend. It felt nice that I didn’t have to go up to people because when you’re new at someplace I feel like you want to be introduced to people. At my other schools before where the people weren’t as friendly and didn’t want to talk to me, I felt discouraged and alone. It really changed at San Dimas. There are a lot of people here who have known each other their whole life and I feel like when someone new comes along they want to introduce themselves and see if they can become friends.
