“Dang man I haven’t let anything get in my head this year aside from losing the best part of high school. I’m having a great time plus snowboarding has kept me super busy. I started when I was around 5 my parents continued to push me to hit the slopes and ever since I’ve enjoyed every single minute of it. I think snowboarding is one of my passions and I will for sure continue to hit up cool mountains like Mammoth and Big Bear. One thing for certain though is that I’ve got to teach more friends how to snowboard so that it won’t always just be me hitting the slopes. It’s a whole different experience racing your friends down the slope for first place or hitting some gnarly jump off a cliff, I wouldn’t trade it for anything.”- Carlos Matinez
