Some Saints Spring Break Plans
March 25, 2021
As the San Dimas Highschool year continues many students and their families have begun to plan trips for spring break and the upcoming summer. Saints at SD are known to be travelers and many plan on taking some trips to get away unwind and feel free from the raging pandemic.
As California and other states open the possibility for spring break trips is more than ever. Many students remember taking trips last year and some reminisce. “I hope my trip to Norcal this year will be better than last but I honestly doubt it since there are so many safety regulations because of Covid,” said senior Carlos Martinez. The main consensus from students was that they hope that their trips are going to be fun as they normally are given the current pandemic were in.
Many plan on leaving the greater Los Angeles area and head to destinations like Big Bear, Northern California, and even Mexico. “I can’t wait for my trip up North my friends and I have been planning it for months and were going to take a week trip up to the sequoias, through Yosemite, and then to the bay area like San Francisco and then loop back home from their down PCH,” Martinez added.
“I really like heading up to Big Bear and just spending time in our family cabin and enjoying the lake fishing hiking and overall just the environment. It’s honestly really fun and great to just get away and relax so that’s where I’m planning on going this spring break” said senior Matthew Geraci.
While other Saints choose to stay in our home state for vacation other students have planned trips to cross borders into other countries like Mexico. “Mexico is going to be great this year aside from seeing my dad’s part of the family. I really enjoy Sinaloa and just love the people and happiness I get from going back to Mexico each year. The pandemic has begun to calm down in Mexico and were planning on going this spring break because the weather is great” said senior Giselle Lopez.
Overall many Saints plan on getting out this spring break and look forward to relaxing and getting away from the computer in bed lifestyle.
