Junior Brianna Silva explains “I’m glad to finally be back competing in person after covid. We’ve been working so hard and I’m excited to see how we do.” She continues to say that the team has been having practice every morning before school and twice a week after school. They are constantly improving as a team as they have many practices to ensure that they come out on top.
Junior Karen Bourklian says “I am very excited for this upcoming season especially because it’s after the crazy covid year we had last year. I’m also super nervous and I’m hoping all our hard work will pay off and we can take that dub.”
With no competitions last year, these girls are more eager than ever. The team is happy to overcome the rough year they faced last year and is ready to take on this next upcoming season. Just as they did in the past years, they are prepared to take 1st place. Their practices are helping the team become more confident in their routines so they have no worries when they step onto the mat/dance floor at the first competition. They are trying to accomplish perfection because perfection at practice leads to perfection at competition. SDHS Spirtline is thrilled to be back and you can go support them at their first competition on December 11th.
