The San Dimas Spring sports have come to a close in the 2026 school year. Although some sports teams didn’t get the results they wanted, all of the teams have one thing they were happy with. Our San Dimas Saints are proud to represent their school in the sports they love.
Senior Stephney Segura stood out the most for the 2026 track team. Stephney advanced at the first and second CIF meets. Stephney secured her spot to qualify for the masters and will now compete on May 23rd in Malibu, California. Stephany states, “I’m grateful for the experience of this opportunity, especially since it’s my last time playing this sport.” “I have worked so hard to get to this moment, and I know whatever happens this Saturday, I will still be proud of myself for all the dedication I have put in and how proud I am to represent my school.”

The San Dimas Saints baseball team has had many highs and lows this season, but they have secured a spot in the Division 3 CIF playoffs. Playing against Cajon High School, the Saints struggled and were sadly defeated 4-0. Senior Adam Rosales talks about how disappointed he is and how “Saints baseball has been the highlight of being in high school. I made unforgettable memories with my teammates and fell back in love with the game I played. We fell short, and it stings that I will never be a Saint playing baseball again with the people I love, but I’m ready to close this page in my book, and I look forward to bigger and better things.”
Another sport that fell short was our Saints softball team. The Saints battled throughout their preseason and league, but weren’t able to qualify for CIF this year. However, Junior Tiffany Villegas broke the home run record this season and is committed to playing softball at Harvard. She still has one more year of being a Saint player, which is good for the program. Senior Audrey Schlim mentioned, “It hurts I won’t be able to play a CIF game again, but I’m ready to play college softball on a higher level of competition.” Schlim is going to Portland State University to play Division 1 softball.
Playing a sport in high school isn’t easy; the hard work and
These students put in long hours behind the scenes so they can be their very best on game days. It’s not just about winning in the end; it’s about the memories you get to make with your saint family. Once a Saint, always a Saint!
