After a hard 16 years, the San Dimas Drumline and visual ensemble worked their hardest to win at their championships. Every morning and night, through long rehearsals, they all worked together to build toward an unforgettable moment and an overall show. San Dimas didn’t only perform, they proved their greatness and made history once again. Drumline marched away with 1st place, proving they can come together and make their show unforgettable. They ended their season very satisfied and walked away with confidence for next season.
During the years, Drumline needed something new, something to bring a spark. This year, the show brought more emotion by adding the visual ensemble. The 2025-2026 season marked the very first year that San Dimas added a visual ensemble to the program. By adding them, the show brought a completely new level of creativity, excitement, and intensity to the program. Hearing from Ellie Trujillo, “I am extremely happy to have gotten to be on the visual team. I was a bit skeptical about joining at first, but if I could go back to when I was first signing up, I wouldn’t change a thing.” Their successful first season together proved that the combination of Drumline and the visual ensemble could achieve something truly special and lay a strong foundation for the program’s future years.

The 2025-2026 Drumline season ended with a bang, leaving behind a season filled with memories. During the final performance, the energy and emotion from the ensemble could be felt throughout the entire crowd. The members performed with confidence, knowing that all of their hard work had led to this unforgettable moment. Senior Presley Luna feels, “As our winter drumline season has ended, I feel more than proud of the drum line we have become, and taking 1st place in the championships for the first time since 2010 is something that will stick with me forever.” The impact a single performance can leave on a person’s heart is overwhelming. Their unity and focus helped them stand out among the competition and leave a lasting impression on both the judges and themselves. Alise Vega adds, “It was a very difficult season, but we were able to overcome it, and I’m proud and happy with the results. I’ll miss it, but I am happy it ended on a high note.” There is no better feeling than ending something you love with a victory.
Winning 1st place was more than just earning a trophy for San Dimas Drumline and the visual ensemble; it was the reward for months of dedication, teamwork, and perseverance. The accomplishment reminded every member that success comes from trusting one another and never giving up, even during the toughest moments. Their championship win will continue to inspire future members to work hard, believe in themselves, and carry on the strong legacy of San Dimas Drumline.
