On the week of October 20 2025, San Dimas High School hosted its annual College Week, an exciting event where students and staff come together to explore higher education opportunities through interactive college visits, informative presentations, and fun, campus-inspired activities. The week aimed to inspire students to plan for their futures while celebrating the journey toward college readiness. Through college visits, informational presentations, and fun campus activities, students plan their futures while celebrating the journey towards college!

Each day featured unique events that brought energy and school spirit to campus. Monday kicked off with free iced coffee at break, on-the-spot admissions, and a college presentation from California Baptist University (CBU). Students who applied were given small school merch along with balloons in the school’s colors! This made the whole presentation look bright and inspiring for the students.
Tuesday featured a fun ASB-hosted scavenger hunt that encouraged students to learn more about different colleges while working together. Not only was this a popular activity among the student body, but it also brought out everyone’s competitive side as groups raced around campus solving clues related to college facts and mascots. It was a creative and energetic way to get students engaged and thinking about their future schools.
On Wednesday, students enjoyed bingo games at lunch, and had the chance to meet with representatives from Azusa Pacific University (APU) and the University of La Verne (ULV) for on-the-spot admissions, along with a college presentation from ULV. That evening, the school also hosted a UC and CSU applications and financial aid night to help students with the college application process, providing guidance and support for those getting ready to apply.

Thursday brought a relaxing lunch activity where students could make their own stress balls; perfect for easing the tension of college planning, (quote), reflecting on how the small activity made a big difference during such a busy week.
Finally, Friday wrapped up the week with a Cheap Eats event and a “wear your college merch” spirit day, uniting students and staff in celebrating school pride and future goals. The campus was filled with different college logos and colors, creating an atmosphere of excitement and possibility as everyone looked ahead to their next steps.
Overall, College Week was not only informative but also inspiring, reminding students that the path to college is more than just applications and writing; it can be both exciting and rewarding.
