In 2010, NeeDoh was released by the toy manufacturer Schylling, created as a stress-relief and fun fidget toy. Recently, the sensory toy has been going viral on social media. People are obsessed with fidgeting with them and the different textures and styles they come in. They are so popular and in such high demand that they are frequently sold out, usually at Target and Walmart.
NeeDoh recently went viral on TikTok because they are really satisfying to watch. They come in dozens of different products differing insize, color, texture, and shape. People post unboxing videos of the different types of NeeDohs they bought, along with ASMR videos of them poking and squishing them. Seeing them go viral has made more and more people want to buy them.

Some popular NeeDohs right now are the ice cubes, gumdrops, nice cream, and groovy glob. These come in a variety of colors and textures. The ice cubes have a firm texture while also being translucent; sometimes, when cold or hot, they become harder or softer. The nice cream NeeDohs are soft to the touch, as well as flexible and easy to squish.

Many people have been “NeeDoh hunting”. There are many places to buy NeeDohs if you’re lucky enough to find them in stock. Some of these places include Target, Walmart, Hallmark, Amazon, and Barnes and Noble. “I was lucky enough to go to Hallmark when they restocked, me and my sister bought a bunch of NeeDohs. They had the NeeDoh fuzz ball wild cats, the nice cream, and so much more,” senior Juliana Robles said.
Students at San Dimas High School are playing with NeeDohs constantly. Some student favorites are the NeeDoh dream drop and the jelly hops bunny.”I like the dream drop one because I like the way it feels and the holder that comes with it,” senior Jaxon Cooper said. The dream drop comes with a removable translucent splash display that holds the NeeDoh itself. “The jelly hops bunny is my favorite because it’s small and easy to squish,” senior Ryan Fox said.
When I went to Target it was completely ransacked in the toy section and the workers said they sold out within hours of restocking. “I know target is always out of stock so thats why i haven’t gone to look there for any NeeDohs,” senior Jon said. Keep an eye out for new restocks at these stores to try to find yiur favorite NeeDoh.
